Tour round-up Week 19; Wilson shines in Korea; learning curve for Foley

Castlerock’s Annabel Wilson was the standout Irish performer on tour last week.
DP World Tour
Rookie Conor Purcell missed the cut in the Turkish Airlines Open and slipped one place to 128th in the Race to Dubai.
The Dubliner missed six of his first eight cuts after back-to-back top 20s in China; he was 134th for strokes gained approach at Carya Regnum.
He ranks 59th for driving accuracy this season and 89th for GIR, but 128th for Putts AVG.
HotelPlanner Tour
Jonny Caldwell was the best of the Irish, T11 in the Challenge de España at Fontanals in Girona and moved up to 65th in the Road to Mallorca.
Mark Power shot 70, 68, 66 and 71 to finish T25 and jump five spots to 57th after just three starts
Alex Maguire was T55 (70 67 69 74) and is 140th in the R2M with two cuts made from three starts.
Max Kennedy (70 71) missed the cut by two shots and fell 16 places of 93rd in the R2M
Liam Nolan (143), Jack Madden (143) and Dermot McElroy (149) also missed the cut.

Alps Tour
The 2025 Memorial Giorgio Bordoni ended in disappointment for Royal Dublin’s Hugh Foley, who shot an eight-under 62 in round to go out in the final group for the first time but closed with a 78 to finish T27 on three-under at GC La Pinetina, Como, Italy.
It was just his sixth start as a pro.
Robert Moran was the leading Irish player in T12 on eight-under, six shots behind Spain’s Asier Aguirre (14-under) after a closing 66 with Ronan Mullarney (68) T13.
Michael Young (73 70) missed the two-under par cut by five shots while John Murphy (71 79) was 12 shots outside the mark on 10-over.
The Alps Tour moves to UGolf Lacanau, Nouvelle Aquitaine, France, next week for the 2025 Lacanau Alps Open.

Ladies European Tour
Castlerock rookie Annabel Wilson finished a career-best T12 in the Aramco Korea Championship.
She finished on level par after rounds of 74, 70 and 72 to finish seven shots behind Hyo Joo Kim (KOR) at New Korea Country Club.
Wilson gained strokes in every department of her game bar driving (-1.33 for the week), gaining +2.21 shots on the greens over the three rounds.
The 24-year-old former US Women’s Amateur runner-up moved to 44th in the Order of Merit after making four cuts from her first six starts.
Lauren Walsh was T26 in Korea (75 72 72) on three-over to lie 10th in the Order of Merit.
Elm Park rookie Anna Foster was T40 (75 74 72) on five-over and lies 57th in the Order of Merit after making the cut in her first five starts.
Wilson, Walsh and Foster return to action in this week’s Dutch Ladies Open, where they are joined in the field by Douglas’ Sara Byrne and Canice Screene (23), who finished T11 and T22 in her first two starts on the LET Access Series.
Epson Tour
Sara Byrne tied for 18th in the Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic in Scottsdale to move up 28 places to 65th in the race for 10 LPGA Tour cards.
The Douglas golfer (23), who had missed the cut in three of her previous four starts, followed a 69 with three 71s to finish 12 strokes behind former AIG Women’s Open winner Sophia Popov on two-under par.
Byrne ranks 26th for driving distance (258 yards), 63rd for approach play (67.5% GIR), 54th from sand (52%) and 96th for putts per round (31.31) after six starts.
She returns to Ladies European Tour action this week for the Dutch Ladies Open
