Rice and Kearney going well at Q-School

Limerick’s Tim Rice shot a bogey-free five-under 67 as Niall Kearney finished brilliantly to shoot 66 and leave them tied 11th at halfway in the DP World Tour Qualifying School First Stage in France.

Rice went bogey-free, while Kearney birdied his last five holes and six of his last eight at Golf de Moliets to leave them just four shots off the lead on five-under with the top 20 and ties progressing to next month’s Second Stage.

Scores

Stuart Grehan (70) and Michael Young (69) are tied 36th on one-under, with amateur Stephen Grant (71) and Cormac Sharvin (72) tied 44th on level par.
