Clancy wins 49th Hermitage Ladies Scratch Cup

Killarney’s Valerie Clancy carded rounds of 70 and 68 to win the 49th edition of the prestigious Hermitage Ladies Scratch Cup.
The Irish international, a sophomore at the University of Indiana this year, finished a whopping seven shots clear of County Louth’s Deirdre Smith on eight-under par.
Hermitage’s Kate Lanigan finished a shot further back in third on level par with Elm Park’s Rachel McDonnell fourth and two-time winner Ciara Casey fifth.
