At the end of a very difficult year for everyone, there is something to celebrate at Faithlegg Golf Club as they win the Parkland Award for Munster from The Golfers Guide to Ireland.

The Golfers Guide to Ireland Awards for 2021 were to take place in Dromoland Castle with a special dinner to mark the 30th anniversary of The Golfers Guide. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions this celebration had to be postponed.

Speaking on the award, The Golfers Guide noted that Faithlegg Golf Club had “made significant investment in the course over the past number of years bringing a top class parkland product to members and visitors alike.”

Director of Golf, Karl Cullen said: “We’re delighted to win the Parkland Award for Munster. Over the past four years, we have invested approximately €400,000 in the course here at Faithlegg and it’s wonderful to see that the improvements we have made are being noted by the golfing community. After a challenging year for our team and members, we are delighted to have some good news to celebrate and look forward to getting back in the swing of things in 2021!”

With a championship yardage of 6,674 yards, the course at Faithlegg ensures that all level of golfers are tested while at the same time enjoying the challenge.
