Duane and Monaghan top Leinster Under 13 qualifiers at Athy

Royal Curragh’s Calum Duane and Tullamore’s Evan Monaghan topped the leaderboard as six players came through the Leinster Under 13 Boys Series Qualifier at Athy Golf Club.
The duo record 33 points on a 5,844-yard par-75 course to win by four points from Carton House’s Alex Kerins.
Ryan Barry (29 points), Ryan Burke (20) and Finn Jolly (19) also made it through in wet and humid conditions to qualify for the 30-player field that will contest the Leinster U13 Boys Series Final at Killeen Golf Club on Friday, 28 August.
The second qualifying event will take place at Donabate on Friday, 7 August with the top 24 players going through to the final at Killeen.
