Royal Dublin

Royal Dublin

Playing a fourball with your pals at Castle, County Louth, Grange, Hermitage, Portmarnock or Royal Dublin might seem like an impossible dream during the Covid-19 crisis.

But it could soon become a reality if you are one of the three lucky winners of the Ultimate Golfers Passport charity draw in aid of four Irish charities whose fundraising efforts have been badly affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Castle, County Louth, Grange, Hermitage Portmarnock and Royal Dublin have clubbed together to offer "The Ultimate Golfers Passport" — three prizes of a fourball at each of these six magnificent venues.

Tickets cost €25 per entry with €6 of each entry going to each of the four nominated charities — Feed The Heroes, Alone, Pieta House and the Peter McVerry Trust.

The balance of €1 is for the online administrators' fees and the draw takes place on Monday, 8 June 2020.

Full details & ticket sales are available at https://buytickets.at/ultimategolferspassport/370419 and multiple. entries are encouraged.

All vouchers will be valid until the end of 2021.

This is a joint fundraising initiative between the six participating golf clubs with the donations ultimately being made in their names.

  • Feed the Heroes — Supporting frontline healthcare workers with nutritious meals.

  • Alone —Supporting the elderly in communities across Ireland with food deliveries and regular communication.

  • Pieta House — Supporting suicide awareness and self-harm across Ireland. 'Pieta House' has seen an increase in cries for help but have limited resources due to the cancellation of key fund-raising events.

  • Peter McVerry Trust — Supporting the needs of the homeless at this difficult time with limited opportunities for fundraising.
