Redman in control as Harrington falls six behind in Bermuda

Pádraig Harrington shot a level par 71 to slip six shots behind leader Doc Redman in the Bermuda Championship in Hamilton.

Europe’s Ryder Cup skipper recovered from a double-bogey seven at the second with birdies at the seventh and ninth before following a bogey four at the 13th with a birdie four at the 17th to come home in level par at Port Royal.

He ended the day tied for 24th on four-under as Seamus Power made five birdies in a 68 to move up 22 places to tied 36th on three-under.

Seeking his maiden PGA Tour win, 2017 US Amateur winner Redman shot a four-under 67 to lead by one stroke from Ryan Armour, Wyndham Clark and Kramer Hickok on 10-under.
