St Mary's edge out Terenure for Leinster title in Irish Junior Schools Championship

St Mary's College edged out local rivals Terenure College to claim the Leinster title in the Irish Schools Junior Championship at Lucan Golf Club.

The Rathmines boys racked up 72 points to win on a best-card countback from Terenure with Donabate Community School and St Michael's College third with 70 points.

Evan Moynihan, Saul Moore, Jack Halpin and Scott Dillon were the heroes of the hour for St Mary's who will go on to represent Leinster in the All Ireland Final at Macroom on April 22.
