Dun Laoghaire retained the Revive Active Ladies Fourball title thanks to a 3.5-1.5 win over a combative Tramore at Athenry.

Tramore started well but while they were three up at one stage in the top match, Caroline Hewitt and Angela O'Sullivan fought back to beat Anna Dawson and Bonnie Collingwood on the 19th.

Eilis Strappe ad Ella Butler levelled the scores when they beat Dun Laoghaire’s Barbara Dillon and Jackie Brownlow 4&3.

However, it was Dun Laoghaire who emerged victorious, winning the bottom two matches and as Fionnuala Halpin and Jacinta McGinley headed down the 19th against Tramore’s Amanda O'Connor and Clodagh O'Brien in match three.

Aine Jolly and Alice Collins beat Mia Maughan and Olivia O'Hanlon 2 up as Fiona Scott and Helen McGoohan defeated Marian Arnold and Rachel Mulcahy 2&1.
