O'Donoghue leads Munster Mid-Amateur by one at Lee Valley

Douglas's Kieran O'Donoghue shot a second successive level par 72 to take a two-stroke lead over Killeen Castle's Paraic Connolly in the final round of the Munster Mid-Amateur Open Championship at Lee Valley.

Connolly set the pace with a two-under 70 in the morning round but could only manage a 76 after lunch to finish the day in two-over.

Cork pair Mark Ford and Gary O'Flaherty are lurking just three shots behind O'Donoghue on three over as the cut for the top 30 and ties who will dispute Sunday's third and final round fell at 19-over 163.
