Leona Maguire won't have much time to enjoy her ninth collegiate win for Duke as he tees it up at Stage II of the LPGA Tour's Q-School this week with her sights set on winning her card at the Final Stage this time around
The 22-year old world No 1, winner of the Tar Heel Invitational on Sunday, is entered for the LPGA and Symetra Tour Qualifying Tournament Stage II at Plantation Golf and Country Club's Bobcat Course in Florida.
The 72-hole event begins on Thursday and Maguire will be looking for a repeat of her performance last year, when she finished tied sixth at the Venice venue that will again host this week's event.
The top 80 and ties will progress to the Stage III at LPGA International at Daytona Beach in Florida from November 27 to December 3.
Maguire opted not to head to the Final Stage last year but to remain at Duke University and complete her degree.
She plans to turn professional after graduation in May.
