Wexford Pro-Am revived as Crown Bar comes to the rescue

Wexford Golf Club is making a welcome return to the PGA in Ireland Pro-am circuit this year.

With a new sponsor on-board, the Crown Bar Wexford Golf Club Pro-Am will be held on Friday August 26.

The Crown Bar reopened its doors in July 2015 and has since been a thriving success for owners Colm and Anthony Neville.

“We take great pride in being involved in the revival of the Pro-Am at Wexford Golf Club,” stated the sponsors.

“This event is sure to attract a top quality field of PGA Professionals from all over Ireland. It is with great pleasure that we will be able to involve some of our clientele at the Crown Bar, who have a keen interest in the golf.”

Wexford Golf Club has had a dramatic makeover in recent years. Course architect, Jeff Howes, has ensured that in the new Par 71 layout there is variety of length, aspect and difficulty, with the reshaped greens providing a test of your putting skills.

The Crown Bar Wexford Golf Club Pro-Am is open to members of Wexford GC and non-members (GUI / ILGU H'cap required).

Entry for a team of three amateurs is €360, which includes meals and goodie bag. Bookings can be made through Liam Bowler PGA Professional Wexford GC on 053 914223 or proshop@wexfordgolfclub.ie
