Small wins Irish Assistant's Pro-Am

Galway Golf Club assistant Patrick Small carded a four under par round of 67 to win the Irish PGA Assistant's Championship Pro-Am at Nuremore Hotel and Country Club.

Small edged out Greenore's Keith Shannon by a shot at the Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan venue in a round highlighted by an eagle at the par four 17th.

Small also guided his amateur partners to team success, finishing with 95 points.
