Meadow qualifies easily for Ricoh Women's British Open - third again
Royal Portrush's Stephanie Meadow cruised through Final Qualifying for this week's Ricoh Women's British Open thanks to yet another third place finish.
Fresh from closing with a career best 63 to finish tied third in the ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters, the 22-year old fired seven birdies a five under 69 to finish tied third at Southport and Ainsdale and clinch her place in the field at Royal Birkdale.
However, there was no luck for Carlow's Rebecca Codd as she shot a four over 78 to finish tied 50th as 14 players qualified on two under or better.
Safely into the open !!! #excited #solidday

Meadow finished just one stroke behind Wales' Becky Brewerton and Thailand's Nontaya Srisawang to continue her run of third place finishes since she turned professional.
She was third on her professional debut in the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No 2 and tied third on Sunday at the Buckinghamshire.
