Healy wins Galway Scratch Cup
Stephen Healy. Picture: Pat Cashman. Claremorris’ Stephen Healy gave himself a confidence boost before his trip to the European Tour Qualifying School with a one stroke victory in the Galway Senior Scratch Cup.
The Mayo star finished on 139, one better than Ardee’s Eugene Smith with Co Sligo’s Steffan O’Hara third on countback from Jeff Hopkins.
