Grant frustrated at Q-School

Stephen Grant. Stephen Grant admitted that he lost his head as he failed to come through the Second Stage of the Web.com Tour Qualifying School in Florida.

The former professonal footballer would have needed a seven under 65 to go through to next month’s Final Stage in California but shot a five over 76 to finish tied 72nd on six over at Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club. Scores
“That was a day to forget played sh-t and totally lost my head out there ran up numbers all over the course,” the 36-year old tweeted. “Time to pack up and head home.”
The Birr golfer, who failed to come through the Second Stage in Europe, faced an uphill battle after following an opening 72 with a brace of 71s.
Tucson’s Nathan Tyler topped the qualifiers on 21 under par as the top 20 and ties finished on six under or better to qualify for the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament at PGA West Stadium Course in La Quinta from December 12-15.
