Clontarf's Eamonn Brady, Royal Dublin's, Patrick Devine and Mullingar's James Quinlivan  shared top spot at the PGA Sprint event at Seapoint.

The trio finished shot level par 72s to finish two shots ahead of Titleist Fitting Centre's Mark O'Mahony and Rosslare's Graham Donohoe.

Brady has made a fine start to the season, winning the recent Seafield Golf and Country Club Pro-Am and the 39th annual Foxrock Pro-Am on Sunday last

The 41-year-old played some superb golf at Foxrock, carding a five under par 65 to edge out Colm Moriarty by a shot, however, he started poorly at the Co Louth links venue, dropping a shot at the par four first.

A birdie followed at the third but another dropped shot at the ninth saw him to the turn in one over 37. He hit back with a birdie at the par five 10th and then reeled off eight pars to come home in one under 35.

Devine went to the turn in level par 36 with a birdie at the sixth offset by a dropped shot at the seventh. The Royal Dublin pro stumbled on his back nine with dropped shots at the 11th, 12th and 13th but to his credit he responded immediately and birdies at the 14th, 15th and 18th saw him home in level par.

Quinlivan birdied the first but a dropped shot at the seventh followed by a double-bogey at the par three ninth left him on two over for his round.

He improved after the turn and two birdies at the 10th and 17th alongside seven par gave him a fine inward half of two under 34.

The next event on the PGA in Ireland schedule is the much anticipated two-day Heritage Pro-Am sponsored by Aidan O'Connell and Associates Ltd next Sunday and Monday (May 31 - June 1).
