Conor O'Rourke wins Lucan Scratch Cup

Naas' Conor O'Rourke claimed the Lucan Senior Scratch Cup by a massive seven shots.
He shot rounds of 69 and 68 to finish on five under par 137 with Lucan's Mark Reck second on 144 after rounds of 69 and 75.
Michael Downes (77-70) was third on 147 from Alan Lowry (76-71), Liam Ashby (75-72), Stuart Clarke (74-73) and James Monaghan (72-75).
In the Junior Scratch Cup, four-handicapper Darren Fowler shot rounds of 72 an d74 to win by three strokes from Mervyn Eager (76-75) with Derek McGrath (74-78) third on 152.
