Scotland are not so much on course but seemingly a shoo-in to win the PGAs of Europe International Team Championship for the second time in three years.

The tartan trio of Fox, Graham Wright and Graeme Brown go into the final round of the tournament at Gloria Golf Club in Turkey with a 10 stroke lead over second-placed Sweden and Ireland.

Ireland's trio of Brendan McGovern (Headfort), Damien Mooney (Ballyliffin) and Michael McDermott (Pure Golf Leopardstown) were unable to match the relentless pace set by Scotland.

Debutant McDermott produced the best score of the day from an Irish perspective, carding a four under 68 to stay in third place in the individual rankings, nine shots behind Fox who is out on his own on 17 under.

It proved more difficult for McGovern and Mooney who both finished the day with rounds of two over 74 to give Ireland a collective team score of -11.
