Waterford wins Barton Cup in Centenary Year

Leading 3-2 after the first leg, Waterford ran out 4-1 winner at the north Dublin links to claim the prestigious scratch foursomes matchplay title for the first time.

No fewer than 140 clubs participated in the event which is in its 107th year and is still one of the most sought after titles in Irish amateur golf.
