Sharvin leads at Galgorm Castle

Cormac Sharvin leads the North of Ireland Strokeplay.Arglass talent Cormac Sharvin added a 68 to his opening 72 to grab the halfway lead in the North of Ireland Strokeplay Championship at Galgorm Castle.

The 2010 Ulster Boys runner up is a shot clear of Ardee’s Ciaran Molloy and Bangor’s Patrick Small on four under par.

Molloy, Small and Milltown’s Liam Harnett set the first round pace with 71s before Sharvin surged in front.

Harnett is tied for fourth with Massereene’s Tiarnan McLarnan while Galgorm Castle’s Michael Reid and Knock’s Colin Fairweather four shots off the pace on level par.
