Who says Irish women aren't hot - apart from Phil Mickelson?

For the past two weeks we've had players in contention to win on the Ladies European Tour and Cavan twins Lisa and Leona Maguire have made the Curtis Cup squad.

Now it's Stephanie Meadow's turn to bask in the glory after being named Golfweek's Junior Golfer of the Week.

Stephanie Meadow, of Antrim, Ireland, shot even-par 144 (74-70) at ChampionsGate Golf Club's International Course in Orlando, Fla., to win the IJGT’s ChampionsGate event by four shots.

Meadow, 17, had three IJGT victories last season, including the IJGT Tournament of Champions in May. Meadow, who will attend Alabama in the fall, also won the AJGA Cliff’s Championship in April, and finished second at the AJGA Girls Championship earlier this month.
